Hm hm. I think a lot of us have a distinct style when it comes to doing our own art. Some are mild, some are hugely different. Some are subtle and some are really noticeable. If you put a lot into what you're doing and enjoy doing so, then keep at it. All the practice and (hard?) work does pay off.

I dream too much. I want a society that can respect each other.

Pageviews and attention don't mean shit if your art's good.

THESE ARE PEOPLE I REALLY ADMIRE FOR THEIR WORK (And I put it in CAPS to show I really admire 'em! :D)

John K inspires me to draw vulgar and cartoony stuff. Shmorky's Flashtub stuff are the best contemporary Flash cartoons ever. Rodney Greenblat (Parappa, Unjammer Lammy) has a very cute and fun style. :) Ralph Bakshi is effortless in mixing controversial themes with cartoons and satire. I'd like to give a huge shout-out to William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for making 60s cartoons fun and making the old Cartoon Network enjoyable. Tex Avery's cartoons: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN (and that's what makes a cartoon :D). Can't forget ol Chuck, too. You really gave Looney Tunes the look we know today. :D Masaaki Yuasa is a GENIUS in Japanimation. You don't need flashiness to make beautiful animation. On top of that, there are some really deep themes to his work. Shigeru Miyamoto started out with a cartoonish style in the 80s and since, has really matured! :D
